According to a new report, the stay at home orders issued in the early days of the pandemic in major cities ended up saving roughly 250,000 lives. The relatively quick action taken by leaders in these days should have been replicated by others, but instead the stubbornness of elected officials lead to thousands of unnecessary infections and deaths.
