The attacks on homeless people in the United States are becoming more and more grotesque. Recently, health department officials in Kansas City wanted to put an end to a group’s efforts to provide food for the homeless, so they poured liquid bleach all over the food the volunteers were preparing to dispense. The health department claims that this was done because the group did not have a permit, but events like this happen all around the country every day without incident and without permits. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins discusses this.
