House Republicans brought forth their ambitious tax plan today, “the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act,” which constitutes the biggest tax cut in history, with the bulk of the benefit going to large corporations and businesses across the country and including a slashing of the corporate tax rate. Former governor and senator from Rhode Island Lincoln Chafee joins “News with Ed” to suggest that the “cynical” middle class won’t welcome the reforms, and the Republicans may not even garner enough votes for the legislation to pass.
