Now that both parties have had their fair space to endorse their candidate and make their case via party conventions in the last two weeks, it’s time for the American people to take a step back and assess the two choices in the most level-headed way possible.

During an episode of “Real Time” immediately following the conclusion of the Democratic convention, complete with an acceptance speech for the ages from Hillary Clinton, host Bill Maher made the choice between the two main candidates a simple one:

“It’s quite a choice we have. We have either ‘I’m with her’ or ‘I’m with stupid.’ There’s the election in a nutshell.”
