While Ethan Couch gets to hide behind the Mexican government and prevent being deported for now, his mother was not able to find such refuge and has been hauled back to the U.S. to face felony charges.
Tonya Couch’s attorney argues that she committed no crime, but she clearly aided and abetted a crime when she ran away with her son in order to escape punishment for parole violation.
At this point, the American public is so sick with the idea that Ethan Couch got away with murder, and they are looking for blood.
