Jon Stewart’s last appearance on Thursday night’s episode of The Daily Show is television history. Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) added to the sentiment of Stewart’s emotional departure and posted a video of her very first Daily Show appearance to her Facebook page. Warren wrote a heartfelt recollection of her appearance when she “was a no-name college professor there in 2009 to talk about oversight of the Wall Street bailout.”
In the dark cave of mainstream political media, Stewart was the torch that guided his viewers to truth and logic. He will be missed on the airwaves, and perhaps no one expressed that better than Sen. Warren.
