Investigators still have not identified the body of a young girl found in a trash bag on Deer Island beach in the Boston Harbor. The Massachusetts State Police, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and other authorities are increasing their efforts to identify the young girl.

They have called upon the guardians of the girl to identify themselves to help with the investigation. “We ask the parents or caregivers of this young girl to please step forward and clear your consciences,” said Suffolk County District Attorney Daniel F. Conley.

The girl is believed to be approximately 4-years-old. Authorities have created a computer-generated composite image of the young girl.

If you have any information on the identity of this girl, please contact the Massachusetts State Police, the Suffolk County Attorney’s Office, the Winthrop police, or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
