Climate science activists have no shortage of enemies fighting them every step of the way. Nowhere is this made more apparent than in this recent interview with Lauren Kurtz, attorney for the Climate Science Legal Defense Fund.
Big Oil and other climate science denying organizations have recently engaged in a campaign to attempt to undermine and harass the reputations of climate scientists. To do this, these organizations issue burdensome information requests seeking every scrap of information about a scientists background that they can obtain.
Their goal, presumably, is to rake through those records in an attempt to find any bit of information that can be used to pressure or harass a scientist into conformity with Big Oil’s position or, at the very least, silence.
That was until a recent court decision in Arizona that struck down that practice.
