Fundamentalist christian, and host of Trunews Rick Wiles is a right-wing kook and certified endtimes doomsdayer. And with the ebola outbreak, people like Wiles and Hate Queen Ann Coulter have descended from the coves of hate to say unnerving things about the outbreak. Wiles thinks that the ebola outbreak is some sort of blessing from God set to root out evil, reported Salon.

“This ebola epidemic could become a global pandemic and that’s another name for plague,” Wiles said. “It may be the great attitude adjustment that I believe is coming. Ebola could solve America’s problems with atheism, homosexuality, sexual promiscuity, pornography, and abortion.”

“If ebola becomes a global plague, you better make sure the blood of Jesus is upon you, you better make sure you have been marked by the angels so that you are protected by God,” continued Miles. “If not, you may be a candidate to meet the grim reaper.”

So, repent of your sins to Jesus you won’t contract the ebola virus? Is that what we’re supposed to surmise from this close-minded and ridiculous diatribe?

This right-wing, hateful fervor is much more of a plague than ebola. Though an unfortunate thing, the ebola virus can be controlled and contained. Hate speech and bigotry like what Wiles has exuded, aren’t so easy to temper. Hate like this is a virus that infects the host and harms the victims, except there is no antidote or cure.

Reason is a foreign concept to Wiles and he lacks the forethought to realize the wrongness of his words because he actually believes that God supports this sort of bigotry. He’s a testament to everything that holds this country back from progressing.
