Recently, legislators in Virginia proposed a plan that would prevent the government from monitoring sea level rises that resulted from climate change. In other parts of the country, Republican officials are trying to prevent science teachers and other educators from being able to talk about climate change in the classroom. This is all part of the attack on science that is being launched by Republicans across the country, and its an attack that has resulted from Republicans believing that they actually know more about science than professionals.
