When the Occupy Wall Street protesters first went down to Wall Street, they could have never imagined how far their message would spread. Since that first day last fall, the movement has spread across the globe, with Occupy groups showing up in major cities all over the world. The movement has also evolved to include Occupying foreclosed homes, occupying Washington, D.C., and occupying the ideals and vision of people like Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Everyday, the movement grows larger and more powerful, and Mike Papantonio spoke with author and Truthout.org contributor Maria Armoudian recently about how the movement will continue to evolve in the coming months.
